Self promoting your web site is easy and often costs very little. You just need to ensure that your web address and email address are included on all your business cards and letter heads, vehicles, staff uniforms or overalls, promotional gift items and anywhere else that makes it visible to your customers and potential customers. You can even make people aware of it by word of mouth.

Advertising
As your web site becomes more widely known, hopefully your need for advertising will decline. However, in the early days advertising is a great way to promote your site. Just make sure that you include your web address and email address in any leaflets, newspaper or magazine advertisements, yellow pages or similar business telephone directory advertisements, posters or any other form of advertising that you may use. Your web site then becomes an extension of your adverts, attracting larger numbers of people to your site and increasing your revenue.
